ELIZABETH JACOBS & BOB GUILBERT
Elizabeth and Bob are neighbors who began rehearsing informally. Music had always been a huge part of both their lives, but sadly, they had both put their guitars and music aside, because "life simply got in the way". Coming together once a week gave them the opportunity to reconnect with the music they both loved so dearly. They realized very quickly that, even though they grew up in different areas of the country and belonged to different churches and folk groups, they were both playing a lot of the same religious music and they both had similar tastes in all other types of music. The joy that music brings to all those who listen, has brought the two of them together and has given them a second chance to experience friendship, laughter and song. And now, they feel that they are ready to share that joy with others. |
